How we work | AI systems you own | PROACTIVE Co

Take AI away tomorrow.
Does anything change?

If not, you're dabbling. PROACTIVE Co builds AI systems that owner-led businesses own. Four steps. Run the workshop, diagnose the work, architect the system in a paid first month, then build one problem at a time, at the pace your team can hold. On your own accounts. Owned by you.

The test that opens every conversation

Where AI adds value, where a plain system is better, and where a person stays in the loop.

Most businesses we meet are using AI. Very few would notice if it vanished. The difference is a system built around the work, not a chat window bolted onto the side of it.

Where AI adds value
  • Repeat work. The same brief, quote or report rebuilt every week
  • Hand-offs that depend on who remembers
  • Reading, sorting and drafting that eats the morning
  • Knowledge that lives in one person's head
Where it doesn't
  • A plain system is better for anything that must be the same every time, and for numbers that must add up
  • A person stays in the loop for every approval, every price and every promise to a customer
  • We say which is which before anything is built
The shift

SaaS isn't dead. It's being redefined.

The businesses that win with AI won't rent it on someone else's terms. They'll own it. AI systems you own, priced on the change they make, not the hours they take.

How we work with you

Workshop. Diagnose. Architect. Build.

Four steps. You decide before Architect and before Build. Nothing is locked in past the step you are on, and everything built stays yours.

01 · Workshop

The workshop

We survey, we listen, we adapt. We fit our expertise and our teaching to your company and your team's needs, and we train you to use AI so you go from adoption to proficiency in the least time possible. Everyone builds their first agent and leaves with a 90-day plan. A one-to-one session for an owner-operator, or the company workshop at your office, by department.

02 · Diagnose

The Diagnosis

Everyone runs their own agent for a month, and we read how the work actually gets done. Where the same brief is written five ways, where a hand-off is retyped, where one person's head holds the process. We read the work, not the worker, and we tell you what is worth building and what is not.

03 · Architect

The Architect month

One paid month. The system drawn and proven on your real work, with one working proof by day thirty. Then you decide. Build with us, build with anyone, or stop. The drawings are yours either way.

04 · Build

The systems you own

One problem at a time, at the pace your team can hold. Built, adopted by the people who do the job, and measured every month.

Where to start

A conversation first. Then the team. Then the system.

Month one is a fixed fee, sized by how many people's work changes, and set in writing after we have talked. After that you set the pace, one problem a quarter, one a month, or two a month, and you can change it. An agreement, not a contract. Ninety days notice either way.

Diagnose

Everyone runs their agent. We read the work, find the repeat work and the double handling, and put a short list of what is worth building in front of you.

Month one · Architect

We interview the people whose work changes, run the workflow test on your real work, draw the system you will own, set the access and privacy baseline, and switch on one working proof. Then a straight conversation. Build with us, build with anyone, or stop.

Build, at your pace

One problem a quarter, one a month, or two a month. Every rung includes the monthly report on what changed and what it saved, one session with your named owner of adoption, and the models, tools and access kept current as the stack changes. Seats, hosting and model usage on your own accounts, at cost.

Monthly, you set the pace90 days notice either way
Ownership, accounts and access

You own it. We hold a key you can take back.

What you own
  • Every system, the code, the configuration, the prompts and the data
  • Your own Claude seats, storage and model accounts, paid to the vendor, never marked up
  • The drawings from month one, whether or not you build with us
  • A system built to transfer with the company
The honest questions
  • Is the problem worth a system? If a checklist fixes it, we say so
  • Who owns adoption on your side? One named person, not the founder unless the founder does the work
  • What does month twelve have to beat? We set the number in month one and report against it
About PROACTIVE Co

We practise exactly what we sell.

Chris Hogan spans both halves. A marketing strategist who wrote the book on his own method, and a thirty-year software and UX builder. Most do one. He does both. PROACTIVE Co runs on the systems we sell. Our reporting, our CRM and our content run on agents we built, on our own accounts.
