Get underway in one session.

A 2.5-hour one-on-one with Chris Hogan. We take the most tedious, repetitive job in your week, get Claude set up on your own machine, and get your real project properly underway with a clear method to follow. The hardest parts, done with me beside you, not alone. Just you and me, on your real work, no group to keep pace with. It doesn't replace you. It takes the mundane off your plate so you can do more of what you're good at.

You're good at your job. You're just buried.

Your real work,
one-on-one.

This is for employees, freelancers and operators with repetitive work eating their week. The jobs where you move data between sources, cross-reference it, run the same calculation and turn it into a report. You bring one real task. We get stuck into building the assistant for it, set up on your machine, in the room. Not a lecture. Not theory. Your actual work, properly underway by the time we finish.

What you walk away with

  • 01
Your project, properly underwayThe platform set up, the hardest parts out of the way, and your real task started with a clear method to follow. Bring the messy, repetitive one. If it's small enough, we may finish it into something repeatable in the room.
  • 02
Claude Code on your machineSet up and running on your own laptop, with the files, structure and memory living with you. You own it, not a platform.
  • 03
The foundation to keep goingYou leave able to build the next one yourself, and a clear sense of what AI should and shouldn't do in your role.

This is augmentation

  • 01
You stay in controlYou're the human in the loop who checks the work. Claude does the heavy lifting, you make the call. It never acts without you.
  • 02
Less mundane, more youHand off the data entry, the cross-referencing, the weekly grind. Get your hours back for the work you're actually good at.
  • 03
Prepped for your jobBefore we meet you answer a few short questions about your role, your tools and the task driving you mad. I prep your quick win in advance.
What could you build

Bring the job
that bores you.

These are real jobs we've turned into AI assistants in sessions and workshops. Yours doesn't need to be on this list. If it's repetitive and it eats your week, it's a candidate.

Brand guidelines

Got a logo? Turn it into a full brand guide: colours, fonts, voice. It underpins everything you produce from then on, and you don't even need a website to start. One of the easiest, highest-leverage first builds.

Email triage

The boring one. Sort and prioritise your inbox and draft replies in your voice, so email stops running your day.

Meeting summaries

Turn a transcript into clean notes, decisions and action items, in your format, every single time.

Complex construction estimating

One of the biggest wins we've built: a complex construction estimating job taken from ten hours to ten minutes. A massive one for the trades.

Marketing reporting

Weekly reports stitched by hand across ad accounts used to take two hours. Drafted from live data, reading Google Ads, Meta and Search, in about fifteen minutes.

The fortnightly numbers job

A recurring calculation someone did by hand every fortnight, turned into one repeatable routine: drag the export in, it cleans the data and runs the numbers, you approve.

Bookkeeping admin

Receipt entry and categorisation off your plate, reading your accounts live, so you read the numbers instead of re-keying them.

Prospect research & proposals

Score leads against your ideal customer, research them, and draft on-brand proposals straight from the conversation. You talk to buyers, not write them up.

We work with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, on Mac and Windows. We build around the stack you already run, not the other way around.

How the 2.5 hours works

One task. Properly underway.

📝1 · Before we meet

You answer a few short questions: your role, your tools, and the repetitive task you'd love gone. I prep your quick win. A 5-minute tech pre-flight makes sure we spend the session building, not installing.

🔧2 · Set up

We install Claude Code on your own machine and get you running. This is the part most people would never get through alone. We do it together.

3 · Build it

We take your real task and build the assistant for it, one piece at a time, checking each piece as we go. Understand the problem, plan, build, check, save. The discipline that makes a tool you can trust.

🚀4 · Underway and yours

You drive it yourself, with me beside you. If your task is small enough we may finish it and get it running on repeat. If it's bigger, you leave with the best possible start and the method to carry it through on your own.

The honest promise

I make promises
and I keep them.

No fine print, no asterisks. Here's exactly what you get. In our 2.5 hours I set you up on the platform, get the hardest parts out of the way, start your real project with you, and give you a clear method to follow so you walk out properly underway. If your task is small enough, we'll get it to something repeatable you can run again and again, maybe even on a schedule. If it's bigger than one session, you'll leave with the best possible start and everything you need to keep building it without me in the room. Either way, you walk out further than weeks on your own would get you.

From the room

What people walk
out able to do.

The most technical they've ever been

People with no coding background end up installing real developer tools and running their own assistant from one command. The hard part is exactly where the value lands, because they'd never have gotten there alone.

A weekly grind, automated

One attendee brought a messy fortnightly job he did by hand every time. We built it into a tool that runs from a single command, with him checking the numbers. His words: "That's what I'm talking about."

They own what they build

The files, the structure and the memory live on your machine, not rented in the cloud. You keep it, you extend it, and it's yours when you move on.

Why learn it from me

The fastest way through the hard part. Sitting next to you.

You could spend weeks figuring out the setup, the false starts and the dead ends on your own. Or you can do it once, properly, with someone who has already been through it. Two and a half hours, your real task, and you walk out properly underway, with something you understand and can carry on yourself. That's the difference between watching a tutorial and actually owning the skill.

AI doesn't take everyone's job. It takes the jobs of those unwilling to leverage it to 10x their expertise.

Questions we actually get asked

Asked in the room.
Answered here.

Do I need to be technical?
No. People with no coding background do this and walk out underway, with the hard part behind them. The setup is the hardest part and that's exactly what we do together. Your job is to know your work and the task you want help with. That's the valuable bit, and it's something AI can't bring.
Mac or Windows?
Either. If you're on a Mac, make sure you know your Apple ID and password before we meet, we'll need it during setup. There's a short pre-flight in your booking confirmation so we don't lose session time to installs.
In person or online?
Your choice. In person at Burleigh Heads, or online via Zoom. On Zoom we share screens and I can help drive your actual setup, so wherever you are, we work on your real machine and your real task.
What should I bring?
One real task you do often and find tedious, the messier and more repetitive the better, plus a sample of the actual data or files it involves (de-identified if it's sensitive). And admin rights on your laptop so we can install the tools.
Do I need my own Claude subscription?
You'll need a paid Claude plan. Personal or a work/team plan both work for the session. We'll point you to the right setup as part of the pre-flight.
How does payment work?
The session is $660 inc. GST. Payment is upfront by card, processed securely by Stripe at booking, and you receive an invoice or receipt your employer can cover.
Will my employer pay for it?
Often, yes, especially for an after-hours session that makes you better at your job. We can send an invoice or a receipt so you can claim it or have your employer cover it.
What happens after the session?
You leave with your project underway and the foundation to carry it on solo. Plenty of people come back for a second session to go deeper, or to build something bigger properly. If you want to take it further, just ask.
